I know it's a bit late, but here are some Christmas names I thought you all might like to read about!
One of the most obvious is Noel/Noelle, which means Christmas in French. If you believe in the real meaning of Christmas, and the reason for the season, (Jesus's Birthday!) Mary is a good name, and so is Josef or Joseph. Mary could also be used as in 'Merry Christmas', and you could choose to spell it Meri or Merry, or maybe even Mari.
Then Nicholas, ofcourse, which is for a boy. St.Nick/Nicholas is what Santa Claus is also called/reffered to. For a girl, or even for a boy, you could shorten the name to Nicki/Nicky.
Also, Emerald might be a nice and girly choice for a baby born around Christmas time, or if you are just wanting to honor the Holiday season in your child's name, because Emerald is green. And as we all know, Green is often used as a "Christmas Color".
Most of us know that part of the Christmas story took place in Bethlehem, where you can get a great name from this place, particulary a girl's name. Anyone know what it is? ...
It's BETH. Beth is a sweet sounding name, and simple. It's easy to spell, and it doesn't usually have any mis-pronounciations. It's also a good name if you don't want the connection to be as obvious as say, naming your child Noel.
I hope you guys all enjoyed this post, and if you have any favorites I left out, why not share them in the comments? :)
Love,
Shay :)

Hi! Top 5 girl's picks beginning with S
It's been so long since I have posted! I've been so busy, but now it's Christmas time, and believe it or not, it's not so busy around here. I thought I'd write some more posts to keep my readers interested! I mean, who wants to read the same posts over and over and over again?
So, here I have.. My Top 5 Picks For Girl's Names Beginning With The Letter S
Sasha- A bit exotic sounding, and pretty. Seems like she'd be a smart person, and know what to do when something goes wrong.
Samantha- If you want a more laid back name for your daughter, why not try Samantha? It also comes with the nicknames Sam, Sammy, and if you're willing to stretch it, Ann or Annie.
Sarah- You can't go wrong with a nice, classic name like Sarah. The only thing is, it's not so unique, so a girl named Sarah/Sara may be one of 3 in the grade.
Sienna- Like Sasha, is a girly name to me, reminds me of Glitter. I'm not positive, but it's probably in the top 100-200 or so. So she probably wouldn't be the only one around.
Sage- If you're looking for something a bit out of the ordinary, and a bit earthy, why not use Sage? Another cool thing about Sage is that it is a name that can be used for both genders, which is a bonus if you are trying to honor somebody with a name!

Your Naming Style?
Everyone has there own naming style. Some people have more than one style when it comes to names, depending on genders. I know that my name style for girl's is very different from the names I like for boys, sometimes. My naming style really doesn't have a 'label' on it.. it's a little bit of everything.. though I'm not very traditional!! So, what do you consider your name style? Edgy? Traditional? Top 100? Or something else??

Thinking Back..
So I thought I would post a little challenge for you all- remembering your doll's names! Growing up, most girls had a doll of some sort, and ofcourse they named them! My doll's names were forever changing, but I do remember an Elizabeth, (more than once!) and Leanne/Leanna. My name style has definitley changed a bit since then, even though it wasn't all that long ago. So now you are up for the challenge! Leave the names of your beloved dollies in the comments!
